PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Bill McNamee-Lamb brings a wealth of experience to the executive search field gained in more than twenty years as a search consultant, and as a senior human resources executive in domestic and global markets with blue chip companies such as Investors Group, CIBC, Rhone-Poulenc and Sanyo Canada.

Bill views his role as that of a business partner who effectively aligns competitive, leading-edge recruiting strategies with client business plans and objectives.  He goes the extra mile to assure that the candidates he recommends represent an ideal fit for each assignment – not only in terms of skills and experience but from an organizational culture perspective as well.

Bill’s visionary, yet practical approach and his deep knowledge of Human Resources, talent acquisition and management have contributed to the successful integration of mergers and acquisitions and to the successful execution of Human Resource systems in start up and high-growth businesses across several industries.

Prior to joining Stoakley-Dudley, Bill served as a Managing Director with one of the longest serving Global Executive Search Firms.  Before that, Bill worked with a Professional Services firm, Banks & Dean, as a Business Development Specialist and Senior Consultant.  He served clients in Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom on leadership assessment & development, retail and call center human capital acquisition and leadership team building for Boards, executive and middle management.

Bill is a former Senior Vice President, Human Resources with Investors Group in Winnipeg, Manitoba.  While at IG, Bill was responsible for the company’s Human Resources strategies including human capital acquisition strategies and systems for the retail financial consultants across Canada and implemented benchmarked psychometric assessment methodologies for the firm’s call center hiring and development initiatives.  He also was instrumental in integrating the acquired Scudder Maxxum organization into IG and then, upon the acquisition of Mackenzie Financial, into the Mackenzie Financial institutional & wholesale business.

He previously served as Director, Human Resources, Electronic Banking at Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) where he developed and implemented Human Resources and recruiting strategies for the development and launch of President’s Choice Financial, Canada’s first retail supermarket bank, and for the development of Winn Dixie Marketplace Bank, the first virtual supermarket bank in the state of Florida.
