POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:   Our client, a major player in the entertainment industry, needs an Intermediate Software Developer who is well experienced in test and validation.  Initial project will be to set up processes for testing and validation of existing and future software to ensure reliability and robustness and to formalize the process and encourage acceptance by the competent Software Development Team.  The successful candidate will have at least 5 years in development with strength in C++ and Java, with a thorough understanding of the software lifecycle.  New development as well as supporting and sustaining existing software experience in structured and Object Oriented design and implementation.  Windows API, TCP/IP and Network Programming and diagnostics at system level.  Experience with Servos, Steppers, Motion Control devices and professional audio and video a major asset.  Must have experience with multi-threaded and embedded software in Win32

SALARY RANGE:    $60,000 to $80,000
QUALIFICATIONS: 5 years minimum in Software Development and Testing
EXPERIENCE:   Must have proven experience in code validation and installing test process.  Experience with CMM.  Must have experience with multi-threaded and embedded software in Win32
