Position Description

  • Inspire and guide talented teams, enhancing productivity, creativity, and effectiveness.
  • Champion best-in-class practices in engineering and production, fueling continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Cultivate seamless communication and collaboration across departments, accelerating progress and efficiency.
  • Lead initiatives that proactively address business challenges, converting potential risks into strategic opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with project management leadership to ensure optimal resource planning and timely, high-quality project execution.
  • Promote a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards that protect your team and stakeholders.
  • Foster open, honest dialogue and robust performance management through consistent feedback, one-on-one mentoring, and clear communication.

Experience

  • 10+ years of proven leadership experience in engineering and automotive manufacturing.
  • Extensive experience managing complex projects, delivering exceptional quality and measurable results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related discipline).
  • Demonstrated expertise in streamlining operations, reducing costs, and driving tangible business improvements.
  • Strong technical proficiency with engineering tools and software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ERP systems, MS Office 365).
  • Exceptional negotiation skills with confidence managing relationships at all organizational levels, from internal teams to external suppliers.
  • An agile, results-driven mindset, proactively identifying and solving challenges.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, known for building trust, motivating teams, and communicating clearly and effectively.
  • Highly organized, driven to meet deadlines, and comfortable managing high-pressure situations with resilience.
  • Collaborative spirit – eager to contribute ideas, admit mistakes, learn continuously, and help teammates succeed.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related discipline).
