Our client, seeking a Mechanical Assembler in Mississauga, ON, is an international leader in the conveyor and material handling marketplace servicing a wide variety of industrial applications: Aggregate, Mining, Agricultural, Industrial and Shipping (Ports & Terminals). Their full range of conveyor systems are designed and manufactured in-house to support their diverse mining and industrial customer base.
The compensation plan is based on experience but will be in the $31 to $33 per hour range.
The Canadian manufacturing plant manufactures a wide range of product in the mining, food, and chemical applications including large conveyor systems and unique equipment for their markets. This will appeal to a hands-on individual with a familiarity with large equipment manufacturing. This is a fairly small team (40-45) with many long term employees. There is a “Client Trouble Shooting” portion of the role that will have you making short trips to client sites across North America approximately 10 percent of your work time.
You will be an important part of their manufacturing team, working on the manufacturing floor. You will utilize a range of tools including Tele-Handlers, Boom Lifts and forklifts in the normal day-to-day work.
