The Opportunity

Seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to oversee all print production activities within print facility located in the greater Mississauga area. The Operations Manager will play a crucial role in managing production processes, ensuring quality, and optimizing operations to meet the company’s production goals.

Position Description

Lead and manage the print production team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets. Ensure efficient workflow, quality control, and timely project completion. Efficiently allocate resources, including equipment, materials, and labor, to optimize production efficiency. Implement and maintain stringent quality control measures to ensure that all printed materials meet or exceed industry standards. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and increase efficiency. Ensure that the plant operates in compliance with all safety and environmental regulations. Promote a culture of safety within the facility. Mentor, train, and develop production staff to foster a high-performing and motivated team. Oversee inventory levels and ordering to ensure materials and supplies are readily available for production.

Experience

5-10 years Management experience within a print facility.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of printing production processes and equipment.
  • Strong understanding of quality control and safety standards.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Completed post-secondary education
