Company Description

A leading Packaging Manufacturer is seeking a dynamic and experienced Press Manager to oversee and guide its production press operations. The ideal candidate brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership within the print environment, combined with the proven ability to guide and nurture a diverse team of print press operators and print production personnel.

Compensation

$100,000 plus benefits.

Position Description

The Press Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient production processes. This includes managing a team of print press operators and production personnel, troubleshooting production issues, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

The successful candidate will demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced production setting, using their leadership and coaching abilities to motivate and develop their team.

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the print production floor.
  • Ensure safety and efficiency of all production processes.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of print press operators and production personnel.
  • Implement operational policies and procedures to meet company standards and objectives.
  • Coordinate with other departmental managers to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to prevent delays.
  • Continuously monitor and report on production performance and progress.

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience within a print environment is required.
  • 5+ years of experience within a press supervisor or manager role is required.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with print press operators and print production personnel.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a strong emphasis on coaching and development.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
