Position Description

Our client seeks an experienced and highly motivated Quality Director to lead their quality management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of our quality assurance and control systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and driving continuous improvement across all operations.

  • Quality Management Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Quality department, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Quality Assurance & Control: Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance and control systems. Ensure product and process compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with applicable regulations and standards, including ISO, GMP, and other industry-specific guidelines. Serve as the point of contact for regulatory agencies and lead compliance audits.
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Identify areas for improvement within quality processes and lead cross-functional teams to implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other improvement methodologies.
  • Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to establish quality standards, conduct audits, and drive improvements in supplier quality.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor quality performance and identify trends. Provide regular reports to executive leadership, recommending action plans to address quality issues.
  • Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing quality team. Foster a collaborative and proactive culture to drive the company’s quality vision and goals.

Experience

Minimum of 10 years in quality management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Qualifications

  • Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean, or relevant Quality Management certifications are highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory compliance, risk management, and process improvement methodologies. Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and external partners, with a collaborative and results-oriented approach.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or related field.
