With years of progressive sales in chemical ingredient distribution, my client is a storied and well-established player within the personal care ingredient sales market, across the United States. Year after year, this company continues to uphold a strong reputation for their top-notch team, quality, service and commitment to their clients’ needs.

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity is two-fold. Firstly, it’s perfect for a professional with a strong technical sales background in personal care ingredient chemistry. It brings a solid base of key accounts, so if you’re driven to take charge of a strong product line, there’s excellent opportunity to further build out business across the Eastern US market.

Second, the company is looking to bring in a natural leader for this role, someone who has lead teams in the past and would be willing to help mentor and build out the team, as it grows.

This is a permanent, full-time position with a well-established company. The perfect growth opportunity to dive into a sales role, by taking your diverse knowledge of products and start making an immediate impact, by growing not only the key accounts, but the sales team as well.

Experience

  • 8 years’ experience in chemical ingredient sales, with a focus in personal care
  • Highly motivated, with a proven history of exceeding sales expectations in personal care
  • Experience with a CRM or ERP system

Qualifications

  • Proven sales team leadership skills and a willingness to not only train, but lead others to success
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills, with a strong command of Microsoft Office products (Teams, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Available for both domestic and international travel
  • A technical based degree or diploma in chemistry preferred

Education

Bachelor of Science specializing in Chemistry preferred.
