Company Description

A well-established organization with over 25 years of success and growth has several Architectural CAD Operator/Designer positions available as a result of their continued growth. This organization is the leader in providing architectural and design services to top-tier retail and institutional clients on a national level. They are an organization that completes full ground-up base building designs as well as interior designs. As a result of further organizational growth they are looking to add a few more Architectural CAD Operators with REVIT and AUTOCAD Experience.

Compensation

$60,000 – $70,000 + RSP + benefits and other great perks

Position Description

We are seeking and Architectural CAD Operator/Designer that will be responsible for, but not limited to the following tasks:

Preparation of concept drawings and renderings
Compiling full set of working drawings for designs in the retail and institutional sector, ensuring building code compliance and municipal bylaws
Completing permit applications and all pertinent municipal and provincial documents
Work with Project Managers, Designers and Engineers to incorporate all specifications in accordance with clients’ design and construction requirements

Experience

4+ years’ experience compiling Architectural Drawings and Designs
AutoCAD and Revit experience an must
Strong knowledge of Ontario building codes and municipal requirements
Proven retail project experience

Qualifications

4+ years’ experience compiling architectural drawings as a Designer, CAD Operator or Technologist
Minimum of 1 year of AutoCAD experience
Minimum of 1 year of Revit experience
Retail Project Experience a MUST

Education

Post-secondary education in architecture or related field of study
