Company Description

Leading print manufacturer specializing in high-quality printing solutions for a diverse range of industries is seeking a diligent and experienced Quality Assurance Technician to join their busy production facility on the day shift.

Compensation

$55,000 to $60,000 base, plus benefits, plus bonus.

The Opportunity

The Quality Assurance Technician (Day Shift) will play a critical role in maintaining and improving the quality of printed materials. This position is responsible for conducting inspections, testing products, and implementing quality control processes to ensure that all products meet the company’s quality standards. The Quality Assurance Technician will work closely with the Quality Assurance Supervisor and other team members to identify and resolve quality issues.

Position Description

  • Maintain quality control procedures, standards, and specifications to guarantee the consistent production of high-quality printed materials.
  • Document and report inspection results, including any defects or deviations from quality standards.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols.
  • Monitor and maintain calibration of testing equipment and instruments.
  • Participate in quality audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of quality control activities.
  • Support the Quality Assurance Supervisor in training production staff on quality standards and best practices.
  • Assist in investigating customer complaints and non-conformance issues, providing detailed reports and recommendations for resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Experience

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in print or packaging quality assurance.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with printing processes, materials, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in using quality management systems and software applications.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to collect, interpret, and analyze complex data sets.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to precision and accuracy.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
