Compensation

On offer is a $45,000 to $55,000 base salary, plus benefits.

Position Description

Reporting to the HR and Finance Manager, the Accounting/HR Coordinator supports daily financial and HR activities. This role involves various accounting and HR tasks, offering significant growth opportunities.

Accounting Duties:

  • Process bi-weekly payroll and remittances.
  • File HST remittances.
  • Manage accounts payable, invoice approvals, and cheque preparation.
  • Monitor A/R aging and outstanding invoices.
  • Assist with year-end activities and reconciliations.
  • Maintain financial documentation and run reports.

HR Duties:

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and orientation.
  • Lead Health and Safety programs.
  • Manage training and maintain records.
  • Update policies and participate in company events.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field with 3+ years of experience.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Positive attitude, flexibility, reliability, and strong time management.
  • Proficient in computer skills, with Sage 50 experience being an asset.

Education

Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field with 3+ years of experience.
