John Barron is a target driven professional with a post-graduate certificate in HR and an undergraduate degree in Psychology. He brings to our firm over a decade of industry-related experience.

He began his career in Human Resources working for renowned and respected organizations like Home Depot and Bank of Montreal. However, it was when he embarked on his new life across the pond to England, wherein his career in recruiting took off. Talent acquisition was always a part of his experience working in HR but it was only one aspect of it and not the main focus of day-to-day

It was not until John joined a recruiting firm that he came to realize his true calling. He spent five enlightening and eye-opening years living and plying his trade in the U.K. as a Senior Recruiter servicing clients in the manufacturing sector. In that time he honed his skills and developed lasting relationships with employers, executive teams, hiring managers and HR professionals, partnering and providing them with hard to find, right-fit, exceptional talent for their most important hiring needs.

Expat no longer, John has made his triumphant return to Canada, choosing Stoakley-Stewart Consultants to re-establish his professional roots and further the growth of his recruitment practice. What has not changed in all this time is that his focus and passion lies within identifying, unearthing and engaging talent for his clients. He earnestly finds manufacturing to be the most exciting, promising and diverse sector.
