The Opportunity

Position Description

Supporting the branch while ensuring smooth daily operations, managing staff, boosting sales, and optimizing productivity. Uphold high standards in inventory processes, resource allocation, and pricing.

  • Manage all aspects of branch activities such as in-house sales, purchasing, warehouse handling, deliveries, administrative tasks, and overall facility management
  • Guide and inspire branch team members to prioritize top-notch customer service and encourage transactional sales growth. Advocate and uphold the company’s values and objectives
  • Prioritize and enforce safety and environmental standards. Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company EHS guidelines. Keep sales spaces tidy
  • Oversee branch personnel performance, ensuring work safety and efficiency. Formulate staffing rosters and liaise with HR and leadership for any staffing needs. Stand in for the manager when required.
  • Streamline order retrieval and stocking operations
  • Spearhead and assist in-house sales and order desk squads in upholding and introducing measures for exceptional customer service.
  • Oversee the accurate receipt, documentation, storage, and dispatch of inventory. Engage in yearly stock checks.
  • Showcase marketing strategies and point-of-sale product propositions effectively
  • Uses experience to devise solutions
  • Guarantees compliance with company policies and protocols
  • Supervises a team of support staff

Experience

5+ years of experience in a related field.

Qualifications

  • A degree in a relevant field is an asset, but not necessarily required
  • Relevant certification(s) typically required
  • Ability to travel less than 10% of the time overnight

Education

  • A degree in a relevant field is an asset, but not necessarily required
