Habitat for Humanity Canada successfully partnered with us to find a Director, Human Resources. Habitat for Humanity Canada is a national, non-profit organization working towards a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live.

Their mission is focused on assisting those in need of adequate shelter, working side by side with volunteers to build simple, decent houses – a core value established by Habitat for Humanity International. Millard and Linda Fuller founded the Habitat for Humanity movement in 1976 in Americus, Georgia.  Built on the idea of partnership housing, Habitat for Humanity volunteers gave a hand up to those in need by working side by side with them to build safe and decent and affordable houses and have helped over two million people in 90 countries through Habitat’s affordable home ownership model.

Habitat came to Canada in 1985, building its first home in Winkler, Manitoba. Since then Habitat has helped thousands of low income families access affordable home ownership through its dozens of affiliates from coast-to-cost.  Today, they have thousands upon thousands of volunteers that work with Habitat for Humanity Canada every year.
