The Opportunity

This is a high-impact, market-facing leadership role at a pivotal stage of growth.

As HVAC Sales Manager, you will take ownership of a defined North American region, with a strong emphasis on expanding presence across key U.S. markets. This is not a territory to maintain. It is a market to build.

You will be responsible for identifying and unlocking new opportunities, strengthening channel relationships, and positioning advanced heat pump solutions in an evolving and increasingly competitive landscape.

This role offers a rare combination of autonomy and influence. You will work closely with executive leadership while having the latitude to shape regional strategy, define your approach, and directly impact revenue growth.

A key component of this role is regular travel throughout the western and southern United States, approximately 30 percent, focused on developing relationships, supporting channel partners, and advancing new business opportunities across priority markets. This is a highly visible, field-oriented position for someone who values being in front of customers and actively shaping their region.

Position Description

This role is designed for someone ready to move beyond traditional territory management and step into true market ownership.

You will have the opportunity to expand your influence across a growing North American footprint while contributing to how commercial buildings operate more efficiently and sustainably.

With visibility to leadership and a mandate to build, not simply maintain, this position offers:

  • The ability to shape and grow a region as your own business within the business
  • A direct role in advancing energy-efficient HVAC solutions across key markets
  • The opportunity to influence strategy and market positioning
  • A platform to build long-term relationships and leave a lasting impact
  • Lead regional sales efforts for commercial heat pump solutions across an assigned North American territory
  • Drive revenue growth through both existing accounts and new business development
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with broader organizational objectives
  • Identify emerging market opportunities and support entry into new segments
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, consultants, and key decision-makers
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure solutions meet evolving market requirements
  • Forecast sales activity, monitor performance metrics, and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Act as the organization’s presence across key U.S. markets, traveling approximately 30 percent to engage customers, strengthen partner relationships, and represent the brand at industry events
  • Provide ongoing market intelligence including competitive positioning, pricing trends, and regulatory developments
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across sales processes and customer engagement

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience within the HVAC industry
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and expanding market presence
  • Experience working within commercial HVAC environments is strongly preferred
  • Exposure to heat pump technologies, particularly water-source systems, is considered a strong asset

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance technical and business considerations
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders across multiple levels
  • Highly organized with strong forecasting and planning capabilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30 percent within the western and southern U.S.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
