A new opportunity for our client in Hull, England has arisen for an Interim Engineering Manager. The company is respected in the industry and leading the way with in their processes and with the products they provide their customers.

Compensation

250-350 pounds per day
40 hours per week

The Opportunity

This is a position that will cover the current Engineering Manager while they are on leave. The length of the contract is between 2-3 months. This role has a great shift pattern Monday to Friday days. They have a family-like environment and will truly make you feel part of their well-oiled team.

Position Description

Communication skills for overseeing staff and working with other management personnel. You need to be able to effectively communicate instructions while leading the team to meet their goals.
Organizational skills for keeping track of various budgets, employees and schedules simultaneously.
Monitors progress against project schedules and budgets; recommends allocation of resources as required to accomplish goals
Monthly reporting of departmental metrics
Promote and enforce a safe and healthy work environment in accordance with applicable legislation and company policies and procedures.
Coordinate all engineering changes and approvals to meet customer deadlines
Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities

Experience

Experience in managing teams of engineers
Experience working in a food environment as a manager

Qualifications

Having HND or HNC certifications

Education

Degree or education related to Engineering
