An exciting opportunity awaits a dynamic and driven Junior Event Marketing Coordinator, based in Ohio, who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment. This role is tailor-made for a budding, detail-oriented professional looking to grow their marketing career and gain experience.

Someone who is starting out in their marketing career, is particularly savvy with event marketing, manufacturing trade shows, and who brings a passion for supporting a high-performing sales team. Position Description

The Junior Event Marketing Coordinator is entrusted with advancing the company’s reputation as a world leader in their industry by:

  • Driving the planning and flawless execution of trade shows, seminars, and team-building events to boost brand visibility and customer connection.
  • Collaborating with communications and commercial teams to deliver cohesive, on-brand promotional campaigns.
  • Supporting global sales and service initiatives by managing logistics, documentation, and order coordination.
  • Maintaining inventory of marketing materials, branded merchandise, and giveaways—ensuring timely fulfillment from their Ohio location.

 

What You’ll Do:

Event & Marketing Coordination

  • Spearhead the coordination of trade shows, customer events, seminars, and internal meetings, including managing event calendars, agendas, venues, and accommodations.
  • Ensure smooth communication with external vendors, internal departments, and clients to bring events to life.
  • Track and process marketing invoices, including co-op event payments.
  • Oversee industry sponsorships and North American memberships to maximize market visibility.
  • Travel occasionally to regional and international events, or to key operational sites, when required.

 

Sales Support & Communications

  • Act as a proactive partner to the international commercial team, facilitating the timely processing of orders and coordinating customer-facing documentation.
  • Liaise with the corporate communications team to align all marketing activities with broader strategic goals.
  • Track and manage inventory of marketing assets and promotional items, ensuring readiness for upcoming campaigns and events.

Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year in a marketing support role
  • Experience with event marketing
  • Manufacturing (ideally) trade shows coordination experience

Qualifications

Knowledge & Background

  • Solid understanding of marketing department operations and their integration with other business units.
  • Familiarity with event planning logistics and execution, from concept to completion.
  • Proficiency with scheduling, communication, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
