Logistics Coordinator

Compensation

Position Description

In this important position you will be entrusted with developing logistics solutions and coordinating traffic requirements for this leading, world-class manufacturer of capital equipment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordination of shipments and pickups (air, land, courier, LTL)
  • Preparation of shipping paperwork, commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and other documentation as required
  • Communicate with clients, partners, vendors, etc. for paperwork approvals and adjustments
  • Arrange container and trailer arrival with appropriate departments, warehouses and partners
  • Work to expeditiously resolve customs delays
  • Collaborate with procurement department re: inbound freight
  • Coordinate shipments between warehouses
  • Filing and record keeping
  • Carrier quotation and selection of inbound and outbound shipments
  • Prepare loading schedules for relevant departments

Experience

  • 3+ years of relevant experience is a must
  • ERP software experience

Qualifications

  • Able to work independently
  • Exhibit strong initiative and able to perform duties with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication acumen, both written and oral

Education

CITT or relevant education, whether completed or currently enrolled
