The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Prepress Specialist to join a leading adhesive label manufacturing business. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in utilizing Esko systems and possess a strong background in prepress operations within the printing or packaging industry

Position Description

Execute prepress tasks such as preflighting, color correction, trapping, imposition, and proofing using Esko software.
Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure the accuracy and quality of artwork files before sending them to print.
Troubleshoot and resolve any prepress issues to maintain smooth workflow and minimize production delays.
Manage and organize digital files and assets, ensuring proper file naming conventions and storage protocols.
Conduct regular maintenance and updates on prepress equipment and software to ensure optimal performance.

Experience

Previous experience in prepress operations within the adhesive label manufacturing industry.
Experience with different print prepress processes used in manufacturing.

Qualifications

Proficiency in operating Esko systems is essential.
Strong knowledge of color management, trapping techniques, and preflighting procedures.
Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
Diploma or degree in graphic design, printing technology, or a related field.
Familiarity with other prepress software, CTP, and Adobe Creative Suite.
