Company Description

A Print manufacturer is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Print Estimator to join their busy production facility in the western Greater Toronto Area.  Their commitment to excellence and innovation has established them as a leader in the industry, delivering exceptional products to our clients.  The ideal candidate will have considerable print experience, estimating various diverse projects to enable the production facilities’ continued success.

Compensation

Leading industry salary, bonus, and benefits package.

Position Description

  • Utilize software to generate accurate and timely estimates for print projects based on client specifications and production requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, production, and procurement teams to determine project scope, material costs, labour, and production timelines.
  • Analyze job specifications, including quantity, materials, printing methods, and finishing options to provide comprehensive and competitive estimates.
  • Maintain and update cost databases, ensuring accuracy and consistency in pricing models.

Experience

5+ years of print estimating experience.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with other estimating software or ERP systems used in the printing industry.
  • Knowledge of different printing methods (digital, litho) and their cost implications.
  • Strong understanding of printing processes, materials, and finishing techniques
  • Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
