Compensation

£25,000 – £30,000 per annum
Voluntary overtime at an increased rate
Pension plan

The Opportunity

We are searching for a professional with experience in a fast-moving consumer goods environment who excels in technical customer interactions and can effectively address production-related queries. This role involves supporting the Operations Director and may evolve as the individual grows within the business.

Position Description

Efficiently manage production and supply chain inquiries, providing effective solutions from order receipt to dispatch.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, guiding customers through solutions with clarity and patience.
Develop and implement production policies and procedures.
Delegate manufacturing tasks to ensure team meets production deadlines.
Manage the efforts of manufacturing workers on the production floor.
Communicate expectations to production workers and evaluate their performance.
Educate team members on occupational health and safety practices, maintaining company policies and procedures.
Establish priorities to optimize manufacturing team efficiency.
Monitor manufacturing equipment and control points to ensure workflow efficiency.
Address production issues as they arise.

Experience

Prior experience in product development within an FMCG setting.

Qualifications

Excellent communication, presentation, and feedback skills.
Strong interpersonal skills to create an environment of achievement and motivation.
Flexibility in handling changing priorities.
Proven ability to work under pressure and solve problems without compromising on deliverables.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office 365 programs.
