Purchasing – Print/Packaging Specialist

Compensation

$65,000 – $75,000 Salary, Profit Sharing, Benefits, Pension

The Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing Specialist to join the team at a leading Print Manufacturer. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in purchasing materials, running month-end reports, and managing inventory control. Strong Excel skills are a must to thrive in this role.

Position Description

  • Manage and execute the purchasing of materials required for production
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials at competitive pricing
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement effective control processes
  • Run accurate and detailed month-end reports to assist with financial tracking and forecasting
  • Maintain organized records of purchases, suppliers, and inventory
  • Identify opportunities to streamline purchasing processes and reduce costs

Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working within a print or packaging manufacturer (required)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement
  • Experience with inventory management systems and generating month-end reports

Qualifications

  • Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Great attention to detail, organizational and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
