Currently seeking a Shift Manager for a leading packaging manufacturer committed to delivering high-quality, innovative packaging solutions to clients across various industries. With a focus on sustainability and efficiency, this organization strives to be at the forefront of the packaging industry.

Compensation

$85,000 salary, plus bonus and benefits.

Position Description

The Shift Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met or exceeded. This position requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Lead and supervise production staff to ensure daily production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
Follow production schedules, optimizing production efficiency and resource utilization
Collaborate with other departments such as logistics, maintenance, and quality assurance to ensure seamless operations and timely delivery of products
Identify areas for process improvement and implement measures to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and minimize downtime
Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions as needed
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to health, safety, and environmental standards
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, training, and development within the production team

Experience

5 to 10 years of experience within a print or packaging environment is required
5 years of experience as a manufacturing supervisor role is required
Experience working with press operators and production finishing personnel

Qualifications

Being able to work a shift that rotates every 2 weeks, (Days/Noon/Night)
Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
