An established, national asset management firm with a large portfolio of residential, commercial and industrial properties is once again hiring talent to join their growing team. They are looking for a Tenant Services Coordinator to join a large multi-residential portfolio in Montreal.

Compensation

$45,000 – $50,000 salary, plus additional perks including benefits, RRSP, bonuses, etc.

The Opportunity

The Tenant Services Coordinator position is a key role within the operations of this portfolio. As the first point of contact for all tenants, you will be responsible for providing courteous and friendly customer service to ensure tenants have a positive and smooth experience during their tenancy.

Position Description

As the Tenant Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Tenant Communication: Service as the point of contract between the property management team and the tenants, addressing any inquiries, concerns and requests promptly
  • Lease Administration: Assist in administering leases, renewal and termination processes, and ensuring all documentation is up to date
  • Move-In/Move Out Coordination: Help facilitate the move-in and move-out process by coordinating with tenants, scheduling inspections, handling keys and access, reserving elevators, etc.
  • Maintenance Requests: Coordinate maintenance and repair requests with the tenants and maintenance staff, as well as contractors, to ensure a timely resolution of issues.
  • Common area amenities: Ensure the common area amenities are always presentable. Reserve any amenities that may be booked for use by residents, ie. party room, gym for private lesson, etc.
  • Event Planning: organize and promote events and activities taking place on the property to foster a sense of community among the tenants.
  • Emergencies: Respond promptly to any emergencies, ensuring tenants are informed about safety procedures and all emergency dispatched personnel are directed appropriately.
  • Administrative Tasks: Ad hoc administrative tasks as required including record keeping, filing of documents, maintaining tenant database, etc.

Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service role
  • Experience working in property management an asset
  • Experience working in a role where you are problem solving to provide a customer with an amicable experience.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year(s) of experience working in a customer service role
  • MUST be bilingual (French/English)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be organized with strong administrative skills

Education

  • Minimum completion of secondary school or higher education
  • Must be fully bilingual (written and verbal) in English and French
