Compensation

$50,000 annually, plus additional perks.

Position Description

This is a residential portfolio so someone with strong RESIDENTIAL high-rise maintenance experience is a definite asset, as the person would need to know how to interact with tenants and conduct in suite repairs. This is NOT a live-in Superintendent position, it is a live-out maintenance position. In this important position, the successful candidate will also be responsible for tenant services for the retail component, but this is a small portion of the Maintenance Technician’s day.

  • Ensuring tenant requests are fulfilled and dealt with in a timely manner
  • Responsible for building maintenance and repairs
  • Minor electrical, plumbing and mechanical repairs
  • Respond to after-hours emergencies
  • Conduct property inspections in order to ensure property standards are maintained
  • Update logs on a daily basis
  • Minor drywall and painting repairs
  • Ensuring all common areas are well-maintained and debris free
  • Ensuring properties adhere to fire codes, safety and WHMIS
  • Ensuring all correspondence with tenants is dealt with in a professional and timely manner

 

Il s’agit d’un portefeuille résidentiel, donc une personne possédant une solide expérience en matière d’entretien de gratte-ciel RÉSIDENTIEL est un atout certain, car la personne devra savoir comment interagir avec les locataires et effectuer les réparations dans les suites. Il ne s’agit PAS d’un poste de surintendant à domicile, mais d’un poste d’entretien à l’extérieur. Dans ce poste important, le candidat retenu sera également responsable des services aux locataires pour le volet de vente au détail, mais cela ne représente qu’une petite partie de la journée du technicien de maintenance.

  • S’assurer que les demandes des locataires sont satisfaites et traitées dans les meilleurs délais
  • Responsable de l’entretien et des réparations des bâtiments
  • Réparations électriques, de plomberie et mécaniques mineures
  • Répondre aux urgences en dehors des heures de bureau
  • Effectuer des inspections de propriété afin de s’assurer que les normes de propriété sont maintenues
  • Mettre à jour les journaux tous les jours
  • Réparations mineures de cloisons sèches et de peinture
  • S’assurer que tous les espaces communs sont bien entretenus et exempts de débris
  • S’assurer que les propriétés respectent les codes d’incendie, la sécurité et le SIMDUT
  • S’assurer que toute la correspondance avec les locataires est traitée de manière professionnelle et rapide

Experience

In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you will have:

  • Have 2+ years of residential maintenance experience
  • Have strong communication skills, helping you manage client relationships
  • Have excellent problem-solving skills and able to think on your feet

MUST have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
