Accounting Analyst

The Opportunity

Work for an industry leader and apply your accounting experience and skills! You will be an important part of the accounting and finance team. As the Accounting Analyst you will be responsible for the analysis of all Cost Accounting and Revenue data. You will report to the Finance Director, making your voice heard.

Position Description

  • Work collaboratively with other accounting officers within organization
  • Utilize math skills to analyze key financial data
  • Prepare financial reports on a determined schedule
  • Analysis of monthly sales, revenue and COGS related to the sales.
  • Analysis inventory report.
  • Analysis Freight in and Freight out cost.
  • Analysis Overheads
  • Maintain Business partner master data in ERP system
  • Present financial reports and estimates to decision makers within the organization
  • Utilize technical skills to create charts and graphs for visual understanding
  • Research current economic and financial outlook
  • Provide solutions to accounting issues as they arise
  • Investigate and provide feedback on accounting irregularities

Experience

A minimum of 3+ years of relevant and related experience.

Qualifications

  • Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools, SAP preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in an international manufacturing organization desired
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient Excel skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance.
