Compensation

  • $35 to $38 per hour

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC Lathe Operator/Programmer to further their career by joining a company that is expanding in size and to be a part of a growing, thriving business.

Position Description

Shift pattern is:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • 40 hours per week
  • Opportunities for overtime available

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Programs, operates and maintains the following machines: CNC and lathes
  • Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints or samples to ensure accurate production
  • Takes precise measurements for cutting or shaping
  • Selects appropriate machine and settings for a given task
  • Plans proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment
  • Follow all workplace safety protocol
  • Quality assurance of parts

Experience

  • 3 to 5 years minimum of CNC lathe operation
  • 3 years of CNC lathe programming, ideally on Haas Machines and on Mastercam program

Qualifications

  • Should be able to do programming in computer
  • Should have experience with Fanuc Controls / Haas Controls
  • Able to lift 30-40 pounds lbs.
  • Able to read Drawings / Blueprints
  • Able to work with tool steel D-2, H-13, P10, P20, M-2, M-4 Etc.
  • Should have experience with Ceramic tools and Inserts
