The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for someone that is looking to continue growing their career by being a crucial part of a well-oiled team, playing a purposeful role in a leading organization, and all while plying their hard-earned expertise in logistics.

Position Description

  • Manage the inbound and outbound flow of shipments for key customers
  • Work with Purchasing and Sales teams, as well as, U.S. suppliers
  • Plan and schedule work assignments for U.S. and Canadian deliveries to customers and corresponding backhaul pickups, in conjunction with Sr. Dispatcher
  • Work with internal logistics staff to determine what loads need to be brokered and what can be handled by their drivers.
  • Proficient knowledge of A class licensing, dispatch processes and procedures, government regulations/legislation (including the Department of Transportation and Ministry of Transportation) and driver’s logs
  • Strong knowledge of geography
  • Participate in the on-call rotation for logistics

Experience

5+ years of relevant experience

Qualifications

Experience with Excel, Loadlink and ERP systems

Education

Education related to logistics or supply chain would be an asset
