The Opportunity

Our client has earned, and enjoys, a massive global footprint. As their new HVAC Application Engineer, you will benefit from their world class technology and manufacturing, while joining a strong and experienced team with the support your require to excel in this important position.

Position Description

Your mechanical engineering experience will serve you well in this role, as you will both design and support commercial HVAC solutions. This in addition to providing client and/or internal product education and training to our clients’ skilled sales engineers.

Gain a comprehensive technical understanding of their HVAC solutions
Collaborate with commercial sales engineers towards design of HVAC solutions
Aid commercial sales engineers in their selling and implementation efforts
Work with sales teams applications engineers, and product teams to conceive sales and applications tools and materials
Join forces with the sales teams to introduce new products to market, while expanding territories and market share
Collaborate with internal service team towards effective resolution of technical issues
Participate in appropriate industry-related organizations
Strengthen relationships with existing customer base by sharing product-related news and information

Experience

4+ years of mechanical engineering, and/or as an application/internal sales engineer, related to commercial HVAC solutions

Qualifications

Able to prioritize effectively, multitask a variety of valuable tasks, in an ever-changing, fast paced environment
Possess strong problem-solving abilities, bolstered by high energy, resourcefulness, and an eagerness to learn
Engineering acumen with a track record of developing and supporting system design concepts
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Extensive experience with Microsoft Office suite Of Products (Excel, Word etc.) and AutoCAD

Education

Post-secondary degree or diploma in mechanical engineering or a relevant field
