Company Description

Our client is widely recognized as Canada’s leading food ingredient supplier, known for taking a product from inception through to development, manufacturing, packaging and distribution. They are looking to fill a critical role on their inside sales team.

Compensation

Competitive compensation with bonus.

Position Description

In this important position you will be responsible for promoting company products to an existing group along with prospective accounts. You will develop and maintain working relationships with customers that allow sales goals to be achieved.

  • Respond to customer inquiries for technical information, pricing and samples
  • Prospecting for new accounts and seek opportunities to existing growth
  • Forecasting account sales and product needs
  • Attend trade shows
  • Meet established quotas and sales goals
  • Resolve customer request, complaints and inquires

Experience

  • Experience within the Food Industry
  • Proven success in a high volume work environment
  • Sales and marketing proficiency

Qualifications

  • Bilingual French speaking is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

Education

Post Graduate degree in Food Science or related field.
