Live-In Building Manager, Maintenance

Company Description

Our client is one of the largest and fastest growing residential owner and operators with strong national presence in Canada. With over $10 billion dollars in assets, they are currently seeking a Single Superintendent to join their team in Burlington, Ontario. In this role, you will be responsible predominantly for property maintenance including building mechanical systems. You may also be required to assist with the administrative duties, showing of vacant suites and cleaning.

Compensation

$30,000 – $35,000 salary, plus accommodations.

Position Description

As the successful candidates, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring tenant requests are fulfilled and dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for building maintenance and repairs
  • Minor electrical, plumbing and mechanical repairs
  • Respond to afterhours emergencies
  • Showing of vacant suites as required
  • Ensuring the common areas are clean and well maintained on a regular basis
  • A vehicle is a MUST

Experience

In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you will have:

  • Have experience as a “Live In” superintendent within Mid to High Rise residential
  • Have strong communication skills, able to manage client relationships
  • Have excellent problem-solving skills, able to think on your feet
  • A vehicle is a MUST
