Company Description

Our client is a well-respected warehousing and logistics company, working in the distribution of food ingredients supplies across North America. They are a rapidly expanding operation, growing year over year, and are looking to ensure that growth remains consistent by adding a great team player and Logistics Specialist with experience in ocean freight, transborder and customs.

The Opportunity

You will be the main point of logistics and shipments, completing documentation, keeping carrier scorecards, managing customs documentation, handling ocean shipments as well as cross border transport.

It’s an in-office, Monday to Friday role, and perfect for a person who wants to take ownership of their processes in a well-paced, roll-up your sleeves environment.

 

Experience

  • 2 – 5 years’ experience in an import/export setting, manufacturing or distribution preferred
  • Experience with Customs Paperwork, International Logistics, Ocean Freight and Transborder Trucking

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of CRM and/or an ERP system, as well as Microsoft Office products
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple orders, adjusting to ever-changing conditions
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Willingness to work in-office, permanent, full-time, Monday to Friday role

Education

University degree or College Diploma considered an asset.
