Compensation

  • $35 to $40 per hour ($75,000 to $84,000 annually)*
  • Overtime available if you want to boost your income

Position Description

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving mechanical challenges, and seeing a finished part come off the machine exactly as planned.

You will be part of a team that depends on your precision and craftsmanship to keep production moving and quality standards high.

  • Run manual lathes and milling machines to produce precision parts
  • Read blueprints and follow specifications carefully
  • Measure and confirm tolerances using calipers and gauges
  • Set up tooling and make adjustments for accurate machining
  • Maintain equipment and troubleshoot minor issues
  • Assist with assembly tasks when needed to keep production flowing
  • Follow safety procedures and quality standards

Experience

  • Hands-on machining experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with machinery
  • Experience measuring and verifying tolerances
  • Welding skills are a bonus but not required

Qualifications

  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
  • Confidence using precision measuring tools
  • Basic math skills for machining calculations
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Dependable and safety-conscious
