Pharmacy Manager – Contact/Maternity Leave Coverage

Unlike retail pharmacies, this role as a Pharmacy Manager ensures Monday to Friday daytime hours. You will be the Designated Manager for one location, while also managing a Remote Dispensing location in a clinic a setting. In this role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Interacting with patients, healthcare professionals and other staff to offer expert advice, address inquiries and ensure exceptional customer service to patients that require accessibility to high-cost drugs, medications that may not be readily accessible, or complex specialty medications
• Monitoring the Cold-Chain pharmaceutical operations. Troubleshooting any discrepancies and compiling corrective action plans.
• Collaborating with physicians and healthcare providers to optimize patient medication therapy and monitoring of potential drug interactions
• Overseeing quality assurance to ensure adherence to established pharmacy protocols, quality control standards and regulatory requirements to ensure the highest level of patient safety and service
• Online/over the phone medication counseling when required
• Managing a small team; coaching, mentoring and providing direction
• Dealing with an escalated issues
