Compensation

  • £25,000 – £30,000 per annum
  • Voluntary overtime at an increased rate
  • Pension plan
  • 26 vacation days, plus bank holidays

The Opportunity

We are searching for a professional with experience in a fast-moving consumer goods environment who excels in technical customer interactions and can effectively address production-related queries. This role involves supporting the Operations Director and may evolve as the individual grows within the business.

Position Description

  • Efficiently manage production and supply chain inquiries, providing effective solutions from order receipt to dispatch.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, guiding customers through solutions with clarity and patience.
  • Develop and implement production policies and procedures.
  • Delegate manufacturing tasks to ensure team meets production deadlines.
  • Manage the efforts of manufacturing workers on the production floor.
  • Communicate expectations to production workers and evaluate their performance.
  • Educate team members on occupational health and safety practices, maintaining company policies and procedures.
  • Establish priorities to optimize manufacturing team efficiency.
  • Monitor manufacturing equipment and control points to ensure workflow efficiency.
  • Address production issues as they arise.

Experience

Prior experience in product development within an FMCG setting.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and feedback skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to create an environment of achievement and motivation.
  • Flexibility in handling changing priorities.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and solve problems without compromising on deliverables.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office 365 programs.
