Company Description

Our client is one of the largest and, fastest growing residential owner and operators with strong national presence in Canada. With over $10 billion dollars in assets, they are currently seeking a Rental/Leasing Agent to join their team in the GTA. In this role, you will be responsible predominantly for showing of vacant apartments, processing of rental applications, hosting open houses, and reporting.

Compensation

$40,000 annually + leasing commissions + benefits

Position Description

As the successful candidate, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Showing vacant suites
Answering prospective tenant inquiries by telephone and email
Completing regular reporting on vacancy and metrics for management review
Conducting open houses
Addressing tenant issues
Processing tenant application forms; completing background checks, etc.
Supporting property management team with any other administrative tasks as required

Experience

In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you will have:

Strong computer skills a MUST.
Ideally experience with Microsoft Office and Yardi Voyager /7s would be an asset
2+ years of experience as a leasing agent

Qualifications

MUST be flexible with working hours and be available to work weekends if required
Able to multi-task and work in fast a paced environment
Have strong communication skills, able to manage client relationships
Have excellent problem-solving skills, able to think on your feet
