Supply Chain Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator

Our client, seeking a Supply Chain Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator in Mississauga, ON is a global company with a reputation for providing products of the highest standards. Compensation

$65,000 – $70,000/year, commensurate upon experience, plus a 7% bonus.

Position Description

  • Manage and ensure fill rate levels are met and engage with suppliers to schedule / expedite deliveries and resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Analyze product availability via reports, then place purchase orders with accurate purchase price, contact suppliers, update ETAs, organize logistics, receive product and allocate back orders
  • Coordinate all inbound and outbound traffic, maximizing cost-effectiveness and tracking all consignments
  • Work closely with the Sales Director to ensure the best supply chain solutions are achieved
  • Be client facing and therefore you will be required to develop and maintain good client relationships delivering the very best in customer service
  • Prepare management reports, as well as analyze statistical data

Experience

3-5 years of previous experience in purchasing, inventory, supply chain or related field.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Intermediate level in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access)
  • Purchasing accounting practices experience
  • Inventory control practices and freight management
  • Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) would be an asset

Education

Supply Chain Certificate or PMAC designation would be an asset.
