Our client, seeking a Supply Chain Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator in Mississauga, ON is a global company with a reputation for providing products of the highest standards. Compensation

$65,000 – $70,000/year, commensurate upon experience, plus a 7% bonus.

Position Description

Manage and ensure fill rate levels are met and engage with suppliers to schedule / expedite deliveries and resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and resolve invoice discrepancies
Analyze product availability via reports, then place purchase orders with accurate purchase price, contact suppliers, update ETAs, organize logistics, receive product and allocate back orders
Coordinate all inbound and outbound traffic, maximizing cost-effectiveness and tracking all consignments
Work closely with the Sales Director to ensure the best supply chain solutions are achieved
Be client facing and therefore you will be required to develop and maintain good client relationships delivering the very best in customer service
Prepare management reports, as well as analyze statistical data

Experience

3-5 years of previous experience in purchasing, inventory, supply chain or related field.

Qualifications

Required:

Intermediate level in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access)
Purchasing accounting practices experience
Inventory control practices and freight management
Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) would be an asset

Education

Supply Chain Certificate or PMAC designation would be an asset.
