The Opportunity

This role offers the opportunity to lead business development efforts across the Boston and Central Massachusetts region.

Structured as a hybrid role, the position is best described as field-based. The successful candidate will spend the majority of their time meeting clients face-to-face, strengthening relationships, and uncovering new opportunities.

This is ideal for a sales professional who thrives on autonomy, enjoys being in the market, and takes pride in building long-term partnerships.

Position Description

The Account Executive will drive growth by developing new business and expanding existing relationships for domestic transportation solutions.

  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities throughout the region
  • Conducting in-person meetings and on-site client visits
  • Developing a strong pipeline of prospective customers
  • Presenting tailored logistics solutions and proposals
  • Expending existing accounts through cross-selling services
  • Collaborating with internal teams to deliver seamless service
  • Negotiating contracts and closing profitable business
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records and reporting sales activity
  • Monitoring market trends and identifying growth opportunities

Experience

  • Demonstrated success in business development or logistics sales
  • Experience selling transportation, freight, or supply chain services preferred
  • Proven ability to prospect, build pipelines, and close new accounts
  • Track record of growing client relationships and revenue

Qualifications

  • Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
  • Ability to build relationships at all organizational levels
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and presentation software
  • Understanding of supply chain operations and logistics markets
