Compensation

  • Base salary: $80,000 – $130,000*
  • Uncapped commission plan paid from the first dollar

The Opportunity

This is a senior-level new business development role designed for a true hunter who thrives on building market presence and winning new clients.

Based in the Toronto GTA (hybrid), you will develop business across all of Canada, expanding the organization’s footprint and positioning its full suite of logistics and trade services.

Reporting directly to the Country Manager, this role offers a clear pathway to increased leadership responsibility, including the potential to build and lead a national sales team as growth accelerates.

Position Description

  • Secure new clients across Canada for a full suite of logistics services
  • Sell solutions spanning air freight, ocean freight, customs brokerage, ground transportation, and warehousing
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline through outreach, networking, and industry engagement
  • Position compliance expertise and operational reliability as key differentiators
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery
  • Maintain CRM accuracy and sales activity tracking
  • Represent the organization at trade and industry events
  • Monitor logistics trends and regulatory developments

Experience

  • Proven success in B2B logistics, freight forwarding, or customs brokerage sales
  • Demonstrated ability to develop national accounts and win new business
  • Experience selling multimodal transportation or integrated supply chain services
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of international trade and transportation compliance
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-directed and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to operate independently while collaborating across teams
  • CRM proficiency; Salesforce experience is an asset
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain, or related discipline preferred
