Finance Manager

Company Description

Our client, seeking a Finance Manager, is a leader in their field of franchises providing home and commercial services. They are international in scope, and are on a strong growth and development plan.

Compensation

Strong base salary of $85,000 – $100,000, commensurate upon experience, plus bonus and comprehensive benefits.

The Opportunity

This position has several interesting elements. First, it is a hybrid role with office attendance one or two days per week. Second, it has direct ties to the Head Office in the U.S., providing a wider scope of opportunity and experience. Third, it is a small team and short chain of command, which has you report directly to the President.

Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years of related experience in accounting/finance
  • Experience with accounting multiple locations, entities and subsidiaries
  • Solid knowledge and experience managing full cycle month end close process to financial reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to work with data extracts, system interfaces, and pivot tables
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills required to effectively communicate with teammates
  • Expert level knowledge in Microsoft Office including Excel Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Takes ownership, self-disciplined and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency

Qualifications

  • Manage and perform the month end financial close process to ensure accurate accounting records are maintained
  • Complete monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and variance analysis
  • Manage and maintain general ledger, AP and AR sub ledgers and processes
  • Compile bi-weekly payroll and maintain employee benefits
  • Assist and advise subsidiary companies on month end close process and submit reports to the U.S. offices
