A well-established organization that has shown significant growth since their inception in 2011, successfully tasked us with finding a well-rounded Human Resources Coordinator/Generalist join their team! Providing specialized Pharmaceutical products and healthcare services, our client is providing to be one of the fastest growing leaders in their sector in Ontario.

Position Description

As an ever-evolving organization, the Human Resources Coordinator/Generalist must be versatile keep up with the evolving demands of the organization. With over 75 employees and growing, this is a hybrid role that would require strong administrative and coordination experience for document management, recruitment and on-boarding responsibilities, but also require experience with writing and enforcing policies and procedure, discussions with staff surrounding grievances, compiling retention and engagement programs, etc.

The organization is forward thinking and are looking towards a succession plan. The ideal scenario would be to have the HR Coordinator/Generalist grow into the HR Manager position within a few years.

Experience

  • Ideally 2-5 years of experience as an HR Coordinator/Generalist
  • Strong knowledge of ESA and OHAS
  • Strong computer skills, having advanced MS Office skills; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with G-Suite
  • Have experience with an HRIS platform

Qualifications

  • Must have 2-5 years of experience as an HR Coordinator/Generalist
  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field of study
  • Ideally a CHRP or CHRL designation or working towards the completion of an HR designation.
  • Full understanding of HR functions and best practices
  • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
  • High computer literacy
  • Meticulous, accurate with an excellent attention to detail
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure

Education

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field of study
  • Ideally a CHRP or CHRL designation or working towards the completion of an HR designation
