The Vice President will provide executive leadership across a multi-branch Canadian division of a global logistics giant providing the full array of 3PL services to a widely varied customer base. This position is earmarked for succession planning in the very near term.
Reporting to the current Country Head, the Vice President is responsible for directing and managing professional business development through the effective use of organizational and managerial skills, incorporating sales and product knowledge, as well as administrative, operational and human resource management expertise. The Vice President will create, roll out and achieve annual budget and business plans while ensuring customer service of the highest standard.
He/she will maintain brand equity and improve on the company’s stellar reputation while focusing on customer retention and attracting new business. Develop the Canadian team by investing time and money in training and coaching in order to ensure a high retention rate. Attract qualified applicants who can support company goals.

Don developed a high level of expertise and a deep understanding of the supply chain and logistics industry during his successful 30 year 3PL career. He is intimately familiar with all aspects of the business, having started in business development before transitioning through various levels of management with EXEL Global Logistics and DHL Global Forwarding. He concluded his career with DHL as a Director.
