Take the helm of the Canadian division of this global organization as it embarks upon the next step in its expansion throughout our fair Country! Currently operating with a sole Branch in Vancouver, you will spearhead the creation of a new Canadian HQ in the Toronto area. As the successful candidate, you will be both an accomplished leader and an expert in the field of International Freight Forwarding, specifically air freight.
Wholly responsible for the P/L, you will maximize operational efficiency such to realize strong margins and overall profitability. Given the full P&L responsibility of this role, financial acumen and experience with same will also be a key consideration.
The capacity to mentor, motivate and manage a team is a given. The drive to push top line growth while simultaneously instituting organizational efficiencies such to elicit a robust bottom line would be similarly assumed and expected at a minimum.
While operational expertise is paramount along with strong leadership qualities, one must also possess the ability to perform well in front of the client. In a senior management role, such as this, client facing activities are a big part of the job and a certain amount of sales acumen is required!
