Our client is a large, national asset firm with Residential and Commercial properties across Canada. They are well-established with a portfolio of premium properties. They are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their team in overseeing all minor maintenance repairs for a portfolio in Burlington. Our client has a solid reputation for success and credibility. $50,000 – $55,000 base salary + other generous compensation perks creating a comprehensive compensation package.
We are looking for a dedicated, honest, fast paced, hardworking Maintenance Technician with the proven ability to work with a team of maintenance technicians/handymen, in overseeing a portfolio in Burlington. A suitable candidate would be someone with a customer service mindset and the ability to effectively manage the day-to-day maintenance requests in priority sequence to ensure the safety and functionality of the properties on an on-going basis.

This position does have an on-call component with coverage for the Burlington property and a sister property located in Hamilton On-call coverage is once in every 3 to 4 weeks. There is additional compensation for on-call coverage. A vehicle is mandatory so that you can travel between buildings during on-call weeks.
A technical trade certificate or any post-secondary education in construction and maintenance would be a strong asset.
